DESCRIPTION:Our first concert will be on November 7th and 8th with Andrew Armstrong\, violinist Stefan Jackiw\, who presented an electrifying performance here last December\, and clarinetist Yoonah Kim\, who enchanted our audiences in March last year! \nThey will perform works by Schubert\, Poulenc\, Strauss\, Piazzolla\, with the central piece in this concert by Igor Stravinsky\, “L’Histoire du Soldat\,” “The Soldier’s Tale”. Based on the Russian tale “The Runaway Soldier and the Devil” in the collection of Alexander Afanasyev\, it will be performed with accompanying video by noted artist Clive Hicks-Jenkins!
