DESCRIPTION:Join us for our thrilling concert\, “The Link from Mozart to Film” with five incredibly talented musicians led by virtuoso pianist Andrew Armstrong\, NCCM’s artistic director. Armstrong will open the program with Mozart’s “Fantasia in D Minor for Piano” one of his best-known and well-loved works for solo piano. \nThis concert includes the largest ensemble of players this season with violist Matthew Lipman and cellist Ani Aznavoorian making return appearances in New Canaan. They will be joined by two extraordinary violinsts\, Stella Chen and New Zealand’s Geneva Lewis. The ensemble will performs works by Korngold\, Barber\, Halvorsen\, Esmail and Cassadó.
