To the Voters of New Canaan,
I am honored to offer my endorsement of Republican Endorsed Candidate Kimberly Norton for re-election to the New Canaan Town Council. As a lifelong Republican born in 1921, I have had the privilege of calling New Canaan my home for over four decades. As one of the first residents of the Schoolhouse Apartments when they opened in 1992, I have experienced the benefits of living independently in senior housing and continue to thrive in this wonderful community.
New Canaan is one of the best places in the country to age in place, and the Schoolhouse Apartments are a shining example of successful in-town senior housing. Kimberly Norton understands this well. As Co-Chair of Health and Human Services, she has been a strong advocate for seniors and for policies that help us remain active, engaged, and supported in our community.
She visits with us often and takes the time to speak with residents, listening to their concerns, and gathering suggestions to strengthen our senior community. Her dedication, compassion, and hands-on approach make her an invaluable leader. We need her vision and care to guide us as our local senior population continues to grow and requires housing and services.
It is with great confidence that I endorse Kimberly Norton for re-election. I believe she will continue to serve with integrity, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to the growing senior population of New Canaan.
