Opening tonight at the POWERHOUSE THEATRE: Jen Silverman’s “WITCH,” described as a dark comedy that all of us will want to see. Plays through October 26. Ticket inquiries at TPNC.ORG.

One night only, also at Town Players, 7pm on October 29, a Candlelight Storytelling for Kids Ages 8 (to 60) of Irving’s “LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW,” with David Neilsen. Get tickets at TPNC.ORD/STAGE-2.

And one more not to miss at A.C.T. of CT opening on October 18 in Ridgefield: the dazzling musical, “ALMOST FAMOUS,” about a teen-age boy not sure of who he is or where to learn, who finds himself on a road trip with musicians, on the way to discovering what famous could mean.
