I am an unaffiliated voter writing in support of Scott Gress for Town Council. My wife Allison and I have known Scott and his family for almost 20 years. Scott has lived in New Canaan most of his life, has attended school here, and has a long history of leadership here. He has been Chairman of the Park and Recreation Committee, Chairman of the Youth Commission, and an eight year member of The Board of Education with two years as Vice Chairman. Scott is even keeled, a rational thinker, and a consensus builder. He looks at issues from all sides and does the work to fully understand the complexities at hand.
