Supporting Kim Norton | LETTER

There’s a lot of folks out there that support Kim Norton for good reason. New Canaan needs strong-willed representatives who can preserve the essential character of our town, make our schools better while lowering their cost, and protect our property values.

That is perhaps why without a lot of effort, Kim collected 306 signatures to be placed back on the ballot. 306 signatures in just a few days. Only 311 people attended the entire Republican caucus! It is clear that there are many who want to see Kim Norton representing their interests on the Town Council, and for good reason. Kim has an incredible work ethic with a perfect attendance record. She is highly organized. Most importantly, Kim Norton is effective. She gets things done and her professional and civic record shows it.

Kim Norton checks every box for those that should represent the town’s interests. At the very top of the list, Kim is a mother of four kids who attended New Canaan schools and were active across the sports and extracurricular spectrum. Kim Norton has lived in New Canaan for 17 years and as a mother has either led or volunteered for roles of significant benefit to the educational and character-building experience. Kim Norton would be the first to suggest you compare her breadth and depth of New Canaan civic credentials with anyone running for office. Kim Norton’s professional credentials include a doctorate degree, and a career in counseling and forensic psychology. I am always impressed with the amazing people we have in New Canaan. We would be lucky to have Kim representing us.

Please reach out to Kim, get to know her. I am highly confident you will respect her values, humility and motivation to keep New Canaan great.
