Nearby but closing (very) soon — Curtain Call’s “MISERY” in the Dressing Room Theatre, a carefully directed (Kevin McNair) and beautifully performed production of this wicked thriller. No intermission: runs about 95 minutes, bring your own snacks and beverages. Do not even think of bringing young children!!! Call 203-461-6358 for tickets.

New Canaan High School Theatre presents “LEGALLY BLONDE – the MUSICAL,” in the main auditorium at the High School.

Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 pm.

Friday, November 21 at 7:00 pm.

Saturday, November 22 at 1:00 pm & 7:00 pm.

It’s a fun show with lots of pomp, highly recommended. Yes, do bring your children. Call the High School to get tickets.

Still playing at ACT of Connecticut in Ridgefield: a brand-new production of “ALMOST FAMOUS,” about a 15-year-old student who becomes a reporter for Rolling Stone. Beautifully directed by Dan Levine and Bryan Perri. Runs through November 23. Call 475-215-5497 for tickets.

And coming on November 21 at Curtain Call’s KWESKIN THEATRE, a handsome production of Irving Berlin’s “WHITE CHRISTMAS — the MUSICAL.” This will play through December 13, and it’s easy to imagine that you will want to see it twice!!! Call 203-461-6358 for tickets.
