“A wonderful couple of days.” So said Bill Flynn, Executive Director of the New Canaan Nature Center https://www.newcanaannature.org about its Fall Fair last weekend. Though Sunday’s festivities were regretfully cancelled due to an incoming Nor’Easter, the heavy attendance on Friday night and Saturday helped to compensate. Friday night was “kids’ night under the lights,” said Mr. Flynn, and Saturday was the “full family experience.” The packed midway had numerous amusement rides, plus arcade games, food treats, pumpkin painting, music, a zip line and rides on the Old Faithful antique fire engine. There was much to keep children, and parents, entertained.

Mr. Flynn was pleased that the Nature Center could provide a “safe, fun thing for the community” and raise some funds to help support the center’s mission of environmental education, and inspiring people of all ages to respect, protect and enjoy the world of nature.
