HSS Greenwich Cup Race Takes Place This Morning

Watch the sun rise and enjoy the early Sunday morning at Greenwich Point, as the 2016 HSS Greenwich Cup Series race that is going to take place this morning. There will be two heats of elite races beginning at 7:15 a.m., followed by three heats of the Fun Solo Mile at 8:30 a.m., and then concluding with three relay heats at 11 a.m. The Hospital for Special Surgery is the lead sponsor of the series and the series is organized by Threads & Treads in Greenwich in cooperation with Greenwich Parks and Recreation and will benefit and celebrate the YMCA of Greenwich Centennial. The Greenwich Cup Half Marathon on April 10 is the second event in the series. The 13.1-mile race begins at 7:30 a.m. at Tod’s Point in Old Greenwich and features a most scenic, quiet, flat, fast course and a limit of 1,000 entries.
