Friends Friday Films: Love Actually

There’s no longer-lived or better-known program associated with Greenwich Library than the Friends Friday Film Series, now 69 years old. The screening of the day is Love Actually (2003, directed by Richard Curtis). Rapidly approaching classic Christmas Film status (except for the R-Rating), this pudding of a movie involves more than a dozen characters weaving through multiple subplots trying to find meaning and happiness in their lives. A plot synopsis can’t happen because there are too many plots and subplots. Friends Friday Films are open to all at no charge through the support of the Friends of Greenwich Library.
