Tax-Free Shopping Week Currently Underway

Whether children throughout the state want to hear it or not, school in mere days away at this point. Why not get them ready for the school year with some new clothes and footwear, as the state of Connecticut’s sales tax free week starts Sunday and runs until Aug. 27. The seven-day holiday exempts clothing and footwear priced under $100 from the sales tax.
