Painted Ladies: Queen Esther in Art

With Art Historian Beth S. Gersh-Nešić, Ph.D  Purim celebrates the grit and gumption of a young Jewess tapped to save her co-religionists from annihilation. Founder and director of the New York Arts Exchange, an arts education service, Dr. Gersh-Nesic offers tours, lectures and workshops in various venues, including museums, galleries, artists’ studios and arts organizations.
She also teaches art history at Purchase College, and has taught at New York University, Simmons College, Rhode Island College and Hartwick College. She occasionally offers a seminar on translation from French to English at Manhattanville College.
