As a scholar, curator, and lecturer with the Met, Galitz is the perfect guide as she discusses her latest book, The Metropolitan Museum of Art: Masterpiece Paintings, which explores 500 works of art spanning 5,000 years. This is the first large, general survey to celebrate the greatest and most iconic paintings of one of the largest museums in the world.
