FreeJoin the Junior League of Greenwich in Thanking ALL the HEROES in our community the week of May 17th-23, 2020. Coinciding with National EMS week, we want to send huge thanks to our local Emergency Health Workers and extend our appreciation to also our everyday Heroes, like Postal and Grocery workers, who have continued to supply and support our community during the time of the pandemic.
Every day from May 18th – 23rd, post a message of thanks to someone you feel is a hero. Tag the photo or post #JLGThankourheroes so we can create a wall of Greenwich Heroes! For added bonus tag the person or organization you are giving thanks to!
What to post: A drawing, a photo, a card, a video message, a video song and dance, the sky is the limit! Anyway you want to share your thanks! Be creative!
Which Heroes? You can post about a specific hero, or an entire industry! Whoever you want to acknowledge! Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, Emergency services, Fire and Police officers, store clerks, delivery drivers, anyone who you want to acknowledge their dedication, bravery, commitment to the people of Greenwich.
