VIRTUAL – Dennis Richmond, Jr: Author, Genealogist, Proponent of Historically Black Colleges and Universities

July 28, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us as Dennis Richmond, Jr. discusses why he wrote a book and the critical components to his writing process. He’ll review his research which began in 2008 and the genealogy inquiries which led him to Greenwich. He’s a remarkable speaker who will also discuss parts of his memoir that focus on bullying at school, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, the power of history in 2020, and the next steps with genealogy and life. His memoir “shares the story of growth; from a young boy in Yonkers with a passion for history, to a powerhouse advocate for higher education.”
