While any plant can be used in a container garden, non-native plants have long been prized as providers of continuous color, creating a challenging barrier for native plants to break. Join us for a conversation on how to shift the focus off color and on to texture, repetition, space and creation of a strong focal area. Learn how to apply these elements and principles of design to create planters which have both visual and sustainable impact. Jen Plasky from Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses will provide virtual instruction on how to choose the perfect native plants for the perfect pot in the right spot…create miniature pollinator plots in pots right outside your front door, on your terrace, under your bedroom window then sit back and watch wildlife come alive around your house, school, work or anywhere else you have a spot with some sun.
