New Canaan Chamber Music Concert “The Magnificent Mendelssohn Octet”

New Canaan Chamber Music’s Thursday, December 11, 3pm and Friday, December 12 pm concerts will be a veritable showcase of seasoned professionals and a quartet of rising stars featuring the magnificent Mendelssohn Octet and Ravel’s Quartet in F Major performed by Nathan Meltzer, Simone Porter, Virgil Moore II, and Hayoung Choi, violins; Melissa Reardon and Carlos Walker, violas; Alice Yoo and Sara Scanlon, cellos, with Artistic Director Andrew Armstrong.
