Peterson Concert: Bernard Purdie & Friends

As a part of Greenwich Library’s celebration of Black History Month, on Sunday, February 5, Bernard “Pretty” Purdie, arguably the most recorded drummer in history, will be performing with his quintet.  Purdie has played on countless recording sessions with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Donny Hathaway, Steely Dan, Miles Davis, Michael Bolton, B.B. King, Hall & Oates, Louis Armstrong, Paul Simon, Marvin Gaye and James Brown. The concert will begin at 3:30pm in the Cole Auditorium. Doors open at 3:00pm.
Registration is highly encouraged, but not required for this program. This fall/winter, Greenwich Library is using statistical information collected during registration to help inform future programming choices. Thank you for your participation.
