Wednesday Night Concert Series: Bookends Band

Join the Department of Parks and Recreation as the Bookends Band will be in concert for the Wednesday Night Concert Series at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. The bands repertoire is primarily cover material from the family-friendly baby boom era. They play an eclectic mix of covers from the 60’s and 70’s including the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Billy Joel, and much more. Audience participation is common and their music appeals to all generations. Their strength is in their vocals with 5 different lead singers, which keeps the sound fresh from song to song, allowing them to cover a wide range of music from the 60’s and 70’s.
Bring your lawn chairs, a blanket, and a picnic dinner and come enjoy some wonderful music under the stars. The rain date is Thursday August 11^th.
